Privacy policy
Case Files: Word Solitaire
Effective 2026-10-09. This policy explains what happens to information when you play Case Files: Word Solitaire, a game by Better International ("Better", "we"). We kept it short and clear.
The short version
- Your game progress and settings stay on your phone.
- We don't ask for your name, email or contacts, and you don't need an account to play.
- Ads come from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID. Where the law asks for it, you choose whether ads are personalized.
- Payments are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or bank details.
Information on your phone
Case Files: Word Solitaire saves your levels, coins, boosters, album, settings and similar game data on your phone so you can keep playing. This data isn't sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
Ads
The game shows ads from Google AdMob and the ad networks it works with. To show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, they may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model and settings, and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other places where it's required, Google's consent form lets you choose personalized or non-personalized ads, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings › Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads, in your phone's settings. More at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Purchases
In-app purchases go through Google Play under Google's terms. We receive a purchase confirmation (the product and an order number) so we can give you what you bought. We never receive your payment details.
Leaderboards
If you sign in to Google Play Games, your Play Games name, avatar and scores are shared with Google to show leaderboards. Signing in is optional.
New levels and content
The game may download new levels, events and art from our content server. Like any website, the server sees your device's IP address when it delivers files, and we use it only for that.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information, we don't run our own analytics or tracking in the game, and the game has no chat or contact between players.
Children
Case Files: Word Solitaire isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Brazil's LGPD, the European GDPR or the Philippines' Data Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to its use and to withdraw your consent. Your game data stays on your phone, so you control it directly. For anything else, write to us and we'll answer within the time the law sets. For data held by Google, see policies.google.com/privacy.
Keeping and moving data
Data on your phone stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Google and its ad partners keep data under their own policies and may process it in other countries, with the safeguards those laws require.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and in the game, with a new effective date.
